This is an old piece from a series of holiday cards I did one year.  Happy New Year!!

I pass this temporary wall around a construction site every day on my way to work.  There are all of these happy and colorful murals done by grade schoolers.  But there is this one, just purple paint on a yellow background and it looks like this.  I can't get it out of my head.  I hope that kid is okay.

True story.

This comic I actually drew about two years ago, so that's why the styling is a tad different.  But I think it came out rather well.  I found it this weekend while I was cleaning up the files on my messy, messy computer.  Found some other stuff too that I'll post later.

So this weekend is APE! (The Alternative Press Expo).  I have real books this year (available at lulu.com if you can't make it to APE), pins, mini comics and candy (everyone likes candy).  Exciting times.

Oh I was bored.  Wow I haven't drawn with mspaint in a while.  I've been having more amazing breakfasts than usual, so that's today's inspiration. 

I used to not eat lunch at my desk, but these days I do.  But actually, my salad that I bring is pretty fantastic.  And I don't have a giant clock sitting behind me.  It's also not at all the most exciting part of my day.  But you know....I've been there.

Drink comic today!  It's also my 100th comic up, so I thought I'd get some inspiration from Pliny the Elder, the great beer from the Russian River Brewing Company.
